Paczki fillings can be simple or exotic, these oracle creme packzi are smooth and bright with flavor!
Happy Paczki Day!
Pączki (poonch-kee) are these delicious, not exactly healthy, treats from Poland. My Grandma used to make them when I was young and I remember them being very round, rolled in sugar, and having this beautiful deep brown, almost crust-like, exterior. Grandma never filled hers with anything, so that gave me a little room for interpretation and artistic expression. I hope that Grandma would be proud of my work this year as she is looking down on me from heaven.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Dipped Pretzel Leaves
What goes better with pretzels? Cheese or Chocolate? If you ask the Peanut Butter, it’s definitely the Chocolate! In today’s recipe combo, I took the Soft Pretzel Leaves and dipped them in the Chocolate Peanut Butter dip. To add a little texture I sprinkled some crushed Vanilla Wafers after dipping the pretzel.
The Battle of the Cobbler
Summertime is a great time for one of my favorite desserts, cobbler, and not just any cobbler, but all cobblers!
If you’re like me, there is simply nothing better than peach cobbler – er, I mean strawberry cobbler – hmmm nope, definitely blueberry cobbler, then there’s apple or blackberry or pineapple! I guess I love cobbler of all kinds equally. So over the next few months, I’m going to be putting cobblers up to a challenge in the Battle of the Cobbler. I’ll need your help in deciding on which cobbler will topple all others in the end.
